What is EoES?

The East of England Summit (EoES) is a community-led, two-day conference bringing together Microsoft professionals, enthusiasts and newcomers from across the East of England and beyond.

Run by a team of volunteers, EoES gives the region's growing Microsoft community a larger platform — with hands-on workshops on Friday and a full conference programme on Saturday.

From your first Power App to Fabric, Azure, Dynamics 365 and Copilot — there's something at EoES for you.

Duncan is a Power BI Consultant who believes every messy Excel sheet deserves a second chance. Known as the Power BI Kinda Guy, he spends his days transforming chaos into clean visuals and his evenings building community through the Norfolk Power Platform User Group.

Adam is a Managing Consultant at Robiquity, a dual-award Copilot MVP, and the founder of the Norfolk Power Platform User Group, the meetup EoES grew out of. He is also a Pluralsight Author, creating courses on AI and Prompt Engineering.

Sarah runs several things at once, and they all point the same way: careers, freelancing and getting people into the right room. She sponsored the first event through Extra Life, her course for freelancers, then decided that standing at the side of it was not going to be enough. She now negotiates the sponsorship, runs attendee engagement, and campaigns for the whole thing on social.

He co-hosts the Sprint Zero Podcast and has spoken publicly about men's mental health in tech. He is based in East Scotland, with his wife Hannah, son Theo, and Linda the Dachshund.

If the 2026 event ran as well as it did, a lot of that was Emily. She keeps the cogs turning while everyone else is on stage, and she runs the childcare programme, which is how a Saturday conference stops being a choice between the community and your kids.

Jon is a Technical Solution Architect at Capgemini specialising in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Azure, with 16 active Microsoft certifications and a regular speaking slot on the UK community circuit. He writes at jondoesflow.com, weaves his neurodivergent identity openly into his professional story, and is exploring freelance consultancy alongside the day job. Based in Leighton Buzzard with his wife Katie (Early Years consultant) and their two daughters.

Gemma founded GTP Tech Recruitment in Ipswich, placing Dynamics 365 and Power Platform talent across the Microsoft ecosystem, and she has backed this region's community from the start. She trained in psychotherapy and CBT before she ever recruited anyone, which is the tidiest explanation of why people say she actually listens.

I lead the development and rollout of a Power Platform strategy at Durham University, focused on governance, adoption, and enablement. By empowering citizen developers (Makers) through training and hands-on support, building capability in processes, data, and continuous improvement. This human-centred approach is driving strong adoption, delivering measurable efficiencies and cost savings across the university.

We began at NPPUG.

EoES started life as an event run by the Norfolk Power Platform User Group, and has since outgrown it. The summit now covers the whole Microsoft stack and is run by its own team of volunteers. NPPUG still runs monthly meetups in Norwich throughout the year.
